Starting at St. Boni in April 2023, Karen is the first CVT we have hired in over 3 years! With the current nationwide statistic at around 9 open positions for every 1 CVT applying, Karen has been a blessing through and through! Not only does she have over 25 years of experience in the field, having worked as a CVT for around 20 years and prior to that at a dog kennel, she is also passionate about her work, kind, and has a friendly, goofy personality that has her fitting right in!

Currently, Karen lives in Excelsior with her 2 Dachshunds, Ernie and Tootsie, and her Siamese mix Gabe. Although currently a doxie mom,  her parents used to breed Springer Spaniels and she still has a soft spot in her heart for the breed <3 She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son. She loves bonfires and is always up for a night with friends!
