"So unfortunately, my 3 year old English Springer Spaniel hurt his paw in a kind of freak accident on Sunday 11/14/2021. We rushed him to an ER vet and didn't have the best experience. I called St Boni Pet Hospital on Monday morning after getting no sleep on Sunday night and Michelle broke the news they didn't have any available spots until the next Friday. I honestly had a sense of peace in my heart because I knew Michelle would pull through for me. In less than 20 minutes, she called me back to let me know an urgent care spot had opened up for that same afternoon. When I brought my dog in, they were so accommodating for him, we got to go right back to an exam room that had a blanket on the ground for him to be more comfortable. The vet tech (I am so sad I don't remember her name) was seriously the best part. I could tell that she loves her job and she loves animals. She thoroughly explained everything better than the veterinarian did and she told me what to expect in the exam. I felt as though she really listened to my concerns and made sure the veterinarian addressed them. It would have been nice if I didn't have to come back the next morning for radiographs of his leg, but the same vet tech explained that by coming back, they would be able to spend a thorough amount of time doing the imaging. Whether this was just to pacify me, I don't know, but it worked. They were able to sedate him the next day and we were in and out in a touch over an hour. The veterinarian showed me the images and offered to send them to an orthopedic surgeon. They got back to me the SAME DAY with the results from the orthopedic surgeon. We are honestly so blessed in the care our dog got in this scary situation. Our dogs are our children and it was wonderful."
